VYUsync‘s H.265/HEVC decoder paired with Socionext’s M30 Encoder offers the Lowest delay in the market for Wireless Broadcasting Application.
NAB Show 2018 at Las Vegas Convention Centre, on 9 – 12 April 2018 – VYUsync Design Solutions, a leading provider of FPGA based high performance video decoder solutions, is demonstrating the latest updates to its HEVC 4K family of decoders with ultra-Low latency support at NAB Show 2018 at SU11321 on South Upper Hall.
As highlight of the show VYUsync is jointly demonstrating with Socionext, a global leader in SoC technology for video and imaging systems, high performing ultra-low latency codec solution enabling the Wireless broadcasters to telecast the live events with lowest possible delays, thus redefining the viewing experience to customers. A real-time 4Kp60 video stream captured via live camera is encoded using Socionext’s real-time M30 encoder and the same is decoded using VYUsync’s real time HEVC decoder. Both encoder and decoder are tested with industry standard test suits and have been proved for their best performance on the field.
VYUsync has developed a fully standards compliant H.265/HEVC video decoder which supports up to 4KP60 4:2:2, 12-bit in a Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale FPGA” said Tom Miyake, Corporate Executive VP of Socionext. “By working together VYUsync has enhanced their decoder to support sub-frame low latency decoding.”
